Guaranteed Deposit Amount Is Increased

Be kindly advised that Deposit Guarantee Fund has increased the maximum sum of a deposit from physical persons the contribution of which is guaranteed. It should be mentioned that deposits (accounts) of individuals including private entrepreneurs both in national and foreign currency are guaranteed. The maximum guarantee for deposits in AMD is 4 million drams, and for deposits in foreign currency – 2 million drams. For guaranteeing the deposit no additional actions are expected of the investor, the deposit is guaranteed from the moment of its placement.
