10.02.2010 «Unibank» has issued a new credit card with 1 million dram credit limit- ArCa U-Buy. The maximum sum of the credit amounts 24 months, the annual interest rate-22% which is calculated on the negative balance of the account. «The individuals who have asserted monthly income and don't have bad credit history may get the card U-Buy. For clients' comfortable service the list of necessary documents for card receiving are brought to minimum. A client must present only his passport, social security card and a reference from his workplace about his job and salary», - said the director of Card business development department Mesrop Hakobyan. At present «Unibank» is included in the list of five best banks in the banking system of Armenia by the number of issued cards. In February of the current year the number of cards amounted 37 thousand, the 73% of which belonged to VISA international cards. According to M. Hakobyan the development of plastic cards business in «Unibank» is one of the strategic directions of 2010. It is planned that to the end of the year the bank will triple the number of issued cards. «Unibank» is in the second place by the number of POS-terminals (674) and is in the third place by the number of ATM (65).
